So yesterday I was thinking about astronauts, I don't know how I got on the subject. But I guess when an average news story is that the space shuttle is taking off tomorrow, thinking about being in space isn't all that strange. Anyway, I was struck by the horrible fear I would have if I were an astronaut and had to execute a space walk. Being tethered to a space ship in outer space, when--if you got disconnected, you'd just float off into the cold darkness with a claustrophobic suit? No thank you. I could handle walking on the lunar surface, but no shuttle repairs for me!

I know that was random and I apologize. I also hope I didn't give anyone new phobias!
